HOLY CHOCOLATE CAKE, BATMAN!!

Brady, the Birthday Boy turning 6 on Christmas Eve, wanted a Batman cake!

  1. What type of icing did you use to fill in the batman image? It looks very smooth.

  2. Hi! It is regular buttercream icing that I thinned down with a tiny bit of water -- just enough so that it leveled itself off after I piped it onto the cake.

    Before I did that, though, I piped the black outlines with a stiffer icing and let it set up in the fridge. That gave me a good "fence" to hold in the thinner icing until it could set up in the fridge.

  4. Hey! That is actually *not* sprinkles... it's even easier (as I hate trying to get the sprinkles onto the sides of cake LOL!). It's just a million stars using one of my star tips. :-)
