When Emily turned 5, our little friend James turned 2... they share a birthday, so often we share a party, and that means two cakes! Emily wanted Sportacus from LazyTown, and here he is:
I made Sportacus using the Diego pan, which has put to VERY good use in our home:
Here is another cake for Dad... I call this "Forester Diego" -- Daddy is a forester and the only thing missing from this Diego is a hard hat!
And then when Mary Pearl turned 4, SHE wanted a Diego cake....
This cake looks positively Day-glo because she loves orange and I tried to make everything orange that could possibly be orange. Unfortunately, it is hard to take a good photo of a flourescent orange cake. It just seems so darn shiny!
